Are women behind the success of Businesses or it is rather politics?

The percentage of women in Public relations industry hovers around 70%.  Questionable, why is the number so high.  According to the vice president of corporate communications at NASDAQ it is because women have the ability to multitask and are the vast majority in PR classes. The following is a gist of the conversation based on this discussion:
As a man going into PR I’ve always wanted to hear a credible reasoning to this question. I attend Ball State University and there is no doubt that males are in the minority when it comes to studying PR/ advertising. But the question is why? Women seemingly do possess more organisation skills and attention to detail compared to us men, he added.
This opinion piece suggest that women have better organisation skills than man which is problematic as one can argue that we are all equally. Also, it raises questions because women have since been looked down upon but particularly in PR industry there are given that power. Women like men are superior; there is no doubt about it. But, questionably, why is it most general managers, CEOs are men. Does this contribute to having woman in PR or in marketing or it is rather one among several business politics that has made women to remain subordinate to men.

  1. having a lot of women in PR does not mean that they will dominate or they are dominating. the idea is that they are still under men who are their managers and their employers. Just look at any most PR departments in various organisations and you will c dat the bosses are men, e.g @nust

  2. They is no power that women are being given. We want women to dominate in positions of influence like being ministers and government officials. Lets have their input in decisions that affect the day to day lives instead of p.r officials who are there to influence and not determine people's fate.
